World Environmental and MNS Selangor Open Day 2026 at Shah Alam National Botanical Garden.

Introduction

The annual MNS Selangor Branch Open day is back on 25th April 2026. This year, it celebrates the World Environmental Day at the beautiful Shah Alam National Botanical Garden, also known as “Taman Botani Negara Shah Alam” (TBNSA).

It is exciting that Mycology group has organized an amazing series of activities designed to help everyone dive into the fascinating world of fungi. From mushroom exhibition and cultivation to tips on capturing the perfect mushroom photo and even some awesome mycology merchandise for all the fans out there! Some mushroom lovers who stick around until the end and stroll along with the group for a laid-back nature adventure have managed to spot the stunning blue Entoloma mushroom.

The activities are led by Jacqueline Low Siew Leng, a member of the Mycology group committee, along with support from other committee members and dedicated volunteers.
