7-Stars Mushroom Farm: An Engaging and Educational Mushroom Tour

Abstract An educational and enjoyable mushroom tour to 7-Stars Mushroom Sdn. Bhd. was organized by the Malaysian Nature Society Selangor Branch Mycology Special Interest Group (MNSSB Mycology SIG) on the 23 rd of February 2025. A total of 33 participants, including individuals and families from diverse backgrounds but shared a common passion for fungi, signed up for the tour. They explored the mushroom cultivation cold storage, guided by knowledgeable staff who had explained the intricate growing processes. Participants also enjoyed the fun and hands-on activities, including picking own mushrooms, and enjoy tastings of freshly prepared mushroom dishes, showcasing the unique flavors and textures of the farm's produce. On February 15, 2025, a group of experts and enthusiasts organized by the Malaysian Nature Society Selangor Branch Mycology Special Interest Group (MNSSB Mycology SIG) conducted a guided walk at Sungai Congkak Recreational Forest Park, Malaysia. The event's main objective is to provide the public with an understanding, appreciation, and conservation of fungi. It also provides comprehensive education, innovative research, and community engagement, which makes mycology accessible to everyone. Introduction Sungai Congkak Recreational Forest Park (Sg.
