Fungi in the Forest: Stinkhorns Mushrooms Hunt at Bukit Kerinchi

A guided walk themed “Stinkhorn Mushroom Hunt” was conducted at Bukit Kerinchi Forest Park, Malaysia, on the 5th of April 2025 by a group of experts and enthusiasts organized by the Malaysian Nature Society Selangor Branch Mycology Special Interest Group (MNSSB Mycology SIG).  The main goal of the event is to help the public understand, appreciate, and conserve fungi, with a special focus on the fascinating Phallaceae family of fungi. It also provides comprehensive education, innovative research and community engagement which makes mycology accessible to everyone.
